Our USAG Team Program provides our athletes with the foundation of competitive gymnastics through proper progressions in a safe environment. Our USAG Team Program is separated into 2 different programs Compulsory Team & Optional Team. USAG team training hours range from 9 hours per week to 25 hours per week. Members of our USAG Team will have he opportunity to compete through out the United States!
Our USAG Teams are coached by Jacqui Strickland, Marisa Santonastasso and Molly Culp.
USAG Compulsory Team
Coaches: Marisa Santonastasso
Our USAG Compulsory program is for children in Levels 3-5. Children in this level are between ages 6-10 years old. It is designed to provide the fundamentals necessary for moving onto the Optional Team. Compulsory Team meets 3-4 times per week for 3-4 hours at a time. Compulsory gymnasts will compete in approximately 8 meets per year including Sectionals & States.
USAG Optional Team
Coaches: Jacqui Strickland
Our USAG Optional program is for children in Levels 6-10. Children in this level are between ages 7-18 years old. It is designed to provide the fundamentals necessary for moving forward to NCAA (Colgate Gymnastics). Optional Team meets 5 times per week for 4-5 hours at a time. Optional gymnasts will compete in approximate 8-9 meets per year including States, Regionals, Easterns and Nationals. Meets run from December to May.

Jersey Shore Gymnastics offers TOPs (Talent Opportunity Program) by invite only. As defined by USAG, it is "a talent search and educational program for female athletes ages 7-10 and their coaches". TOPs has three main goals listed in USAG's general info: 1) Identify talented young gymnasts 2) Identify deficiencies in fitness and skill in order to remedy 3) Enhance the information flow and educational opportunities to talented athletes, their parents and their coaches to help improve the athlete's training.

Jersey Shore Gymnastics offers HOPES training for children who will be perusing Elite. This program is for children who are ages 10-13 years old. Most children who compete in the HOPES division have also went through the TOPS program. HOPES provides athletes with an opportunity to compete the traditional Elite compulsory and a modified FIG Optional routine and includes an opportunity to qualify to the Challenge (HOPES division only). It is a ‘Pre’ Pre-Elite program. Athletes compete in the same qualifiers as their Elite teammates and earn their way up the ranks!
