At Jersey Shore Gymnastics Academy we take pride in our ability to provide a safe, healthy and clean environment for all of our athletes to have fun and achieve their goals!

Our Recreational Program is designed for athletes of all abilities. We offer programs for beginners all the ways up to advanced athletes. Our recreational program is also a great starting point for athletes that are interested in working towards our competitive programs. In addition to traditional gymnastics, we also offer Trampoline, Ninja Warrior, Tumbling and Sports Strength & Agility!

Kinder Beginner

Program Coordinator: Jacqui Strickland

Class Length: One Hour

Ages: Kindergarden

Gender: Girls & Boys

Students in our Kinder Beginner program will enjoy learning traditional gymnastics events. These classes teach the basics of artistic gymnastics as a foundation and bridge to all other Recreational Classes. This program places great emphasis on skill progressions and fun!

This program provides a safe and positive environment where children can learn the fantastic movement potential of their body through gymnastics. This program develops both upper and lower body strength and increases total body coordination. Students gain confidence as they learn new gymnastic skills on each apparatus.

Trampoline

Class Length: 45 Minutes - One Hour

Age: 4 - Adults

Gender: Girls & Boys

Our Recreational Trampoline Program is what kids love the most: JUMPING! We offer trampoline classes for all ability levels from just learning to jump to combinations of flips and twists. Trampoline classes build aerial awareness, strength and coordination. We offer trampoline programs for all ages and abilities.

Ninja Warrior

Class Length: 45 Minutes - One Hour

Age: 2 - 17

Our Ninja Warrior Program is fun and fast moving. Students develop strength, coordination, balance, speed, power, and self-confidence. We utilize plyometric training and body weight training to prepare the athletes for the combined art of Ninja Warrior training and gymnastics technique. We offer classes for 2 and 3 year olds that require parent assistance all the way up to high school age!

Our Recreational Tumbling Program provides our athletes with the foundation of tumbling gymnastics through proper progressions in a safe environment. We offer Tumbling Classes for all ability levels from beginners to athletes that have been tumbling for years.

Gymnastics helps children build a wide range of motor and coordination skills which assist in developing body awareness and core strength that carries over to all other sports. Gymnastic training improves these skills in a way that just practicing within their sport cannot.
